How we started

After working in metal for nearly 30 years for other companies, Clifford and Regina set out to make their own way. With Regina's leadership and business skills and Clifford's expertise and artistry, G&C Welding Specialist came to life. Knowing that government work was beneficial, the very first project was furniture for a US Naval Ship, specifically for the Captain's Quarters. While custom furniture for naval application was the beginning, things really got rolling once the company dove into helping The Daytona Speedway Rising Project.

Expert Welding

As the projects grew in size, so did the team. G&C Welding Specialist added team members, who are now like family members, enhancing the scale of work that could be completed. From panel and chain link railing to a convenient drink rail at The Daytona International Speedway, one project rolled into another and G&C was working on The Orlando City Soccer Stadium railing, throughout the entire facility! Expert craftsmanship, with an attention to detail, continued the journey into city and county pedestrian bridges and more.

Metal Artistry

Large projects kept rolling in, leading to the Orlando International Airport, Brightline, and the story continues. From custom motorcycle swing arms to intrictate railing and spiral staircases, the variety of projects we've executed spans the spectrum of metalwork, interweaving our creativity with production, offering an ability to take on a wide array of work, from single custom requests to massive construction installations. Whether we are building railings for safety or beautiful elements for aesthetic appeal, we build with finesse.

What Does G&C Do?

As a full service welding and metalwork shop, we specialize in working with Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and regular Steel. Not all welders can work seamlessly with Stainless Steel and Aluminum, but with decades of experience, our team delivers excellent results with finesse.

We are certified MBE and DBE, as well as one of only 14 companies certified through the FDOT to work on railing. Our projects have spanned from The Orlando City Soccer Stadium to The Daytona International Speedway, and pedestrian bridges in several Florida counties, including downtown Orlando’s Colonial Overpass. We are also proud to work on the South Terminal at Orlando International Airport, as well as several other large projects that have to do with air and train travel.

While municipal work keeps us busy, we love working with general contractors on unique projects, such as custom railing, stairs, and much more. Our VP of Operations is a motorcycle enthusiast, which led to us offering custom swingarms. If it has to do with metalwork, we are ready to get involved!
